Dates of Competition:  Friday 16th September, Saturday 17th September and Sunday 18th September 2022.

Event Location:  Taifalos Park, Robert Johnstone Parade, Kurrimine Beach.

Gates Open:  4:30pm Friday 16th September 2022.

Weigh-In Times:  Daily weigh-ins will be conducted from 12:00pm midday to 6:00pm Saturday 17th September 2022 & 10:00am to 2:00pm on Sunday 18th September 2022 at Taifalos Park.  No overnight fishing is permitted. LINES IN THE WATER AT 6:00AM.  Anyone not in the queue at the official ‘Weigh-In Station’ with an eligible fish to be weighed at 6:00pm on Saturday 17th September and 2:00pm Sunday 18th September 2022 will be deemed ineligible to be weighed in and therefore outside the official finish time.

Event Cancellation

In the event the Kurrimine Classic is cancelled due to weather or government restrictions, all nomination fees will be refunded.  However, the first 200 adults that nominated will not receive a free shirt, and the first 100 juniors will not receive a free bucket hat. All prizes, Promotional Superdraws and Promotional Nightly Draws will not be drawn.

Conditions of Entry

Upon entering the event location for the Kurrimine Classic, you understand and agree with the following:

• No alcohol or dogs are permitted in the event location during the event, however, working dogs are welcome.
• During the event, the event location is a licensed venue and alcohol will be available for purchase and consumption.
• The Kurrimine Beach Fishing Club Incorporated accepts no liability for any property stolen or left at the event location.

Junior Competitors must be under the age of 16 years up to and including the last day of the

competition and not under the age of 3 years at the commencement of the competition.

Promotional Superdraws

ADULT PROMOTIONAL SUPER DRAW:

An Adult nomination entry number will be drawn at the presentation on Sunday 18th September 2022, approximately 5.00pm. The winner of the Adult Promotional Super Draw will be the winner of $25,000 cash (via cheque).

JUNIOR PROMOTIONAL SUPER DRAW:

A Junior nomination entry number will be drawn at the presentation on Sunday 18th September 2022, approximately 5.00pm. The winner of the Junior Promotional Super Draw will be the winner of $2,000 cash (via cheque).

PROMOTIONAL SUPERDRAW RULES:

1. All fully paid adult nominations at 7pm on Friday 16th September 2022 will be eligible for automatic inclusion in the Adult Promotional Superdraw.
2. The person whose number is drawn, as winner of the Adult Promotional Superdraw on Sunday 18th September 2022 must present himself/herself with their proof of identification within 2 minutes or another draw will occur until a winner is determined.
3. When the Adult Promotional Superdraw winner has been identified to the satisfaction of the KBFC Competition Committee then that entrant shall win the Adult Promotional Superdraw.
4. Winning entry will be published on the Kurrimine Beach Fishing Club’s website.
5. Any action, incident or situation not covered by these rules shall be determined by the KBFC Committee and their decision is final.
6. KBFC Committee Members including their immediate family are eligible to enter the Promotional Superdraws in accordance with Charitable and Non- Profit Gaming Act 1999, Charitable and Non- Profit Gaming Regulation 1999 and the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Rules 2010.

JUNIOR PROMOTIONAL SUPER DRAW RULES:

1. All fully paid junior nominations at 7pm on Friday 16th September 2022 will be eligible for automatic inclusion in the Junior Promotional Superdraw.
2. The person whose number is drawn, as winner of the Junior Promotional Superdraw on Sunday 18th September 2022 must present himself/herself with their angler card within 2 minutes or another draw will occur until a winner is determined.
3. When the Junior Promotional Superdraw winner has been identified to the satisfaction of the KBFC Committee then that entrant shall win the Junior Promotional Superdraw.
4. Any action, incident or situation not covered by these rules shall be determined by the KBFC Committee and their decision is final.
5. Winning entry will be published on the Kurrimine Beach Fishing Club’s website.
6. KBFC Committee Members including their immediate family are eligible to enter the Promotional Superdraws in accordance with the Charitable and Non- Profit Gaming Act 1999, Charitable and Non- Profit Gaming Regulation 1999 and the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Rules 2010.

PROMOTIONAL NIGHTLY DRAWS:

Adult nomination numbers will be drawn nightly. The winner of the adult promotional Nightly Draws will be the competitor number drawn on Friday 16th September 2022 (Official Briefing, approximately from 7.30pm), Saturday 17th September 2022 (Brag Night, approximately from 7.30pm) and Sunday 18th September 2022 (Presentation, approximately from 4.00pm).

Junior nomination numbers will be drawn nightly. The winner of the junior Promotional Nightly Draws will be the competitor number drawn on Friday 16th September 2022 (Official Briefing, approximately from 7.30pm), Saturday 17th September 2022 (Brag Night, approximately from 7.30pm) and Sunday 18th September 2022 (Presentation, approximately from 4.00pm).

1. KBFC Committee Members including their immediate family are eligible to enter the Promotional Nightly Draws in accordance with the Charitable and Non- Profit Gaming Act 1999, Charitable and Non- Profit Gaming Regulation 1999 and the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Rules 2010.

PROMOTIONAL NIGHTLY DRAW RULES:

1. All fully paid Adult and Junior nominations at 7pm on Friday 16th September 2022 will be eligible for automatic inclusion in the Adult and Junior Promotional Nightly Draws.
2. Promotional Nightly Draws are still to be determined and will be confirmed and made available at event site from 4.30pm Friday 16th September 2022.
3. On each draw the competitor possessing the nomination number announced must present himself/herself with their proof of identification within 2 minutes or another draw will occur until a winner is determined.
4. Winning entries will be displayed at the event.
5. Any action, incident or situation not covered by these rules shall be determined by the KBFC Committee and their decision is final.

Under no circumstances are there to be any transfer of an Official Electronic Ticket to another name prior to or during the event.

Competitor Agreement

By completing the Kurrimine Beach Fishing Club Inc website registration process:

• you have read the Kurrimine Beach Fishing Club Incorporated Terms and Conditions of the Competition presented; and
• you understand the terms described and are lawfully abiding by these terms and conditions granting Kurrimine Beach Fishing Club Incorporated rights given under this contract.
• You authorise for the Kurrimine Beach Fishing Club Incorporated to use any audio/visual imagery taken of yourself via photography, video content and audio recordings for purposes of material produced for promotion, marketing or advertising for (including but not limited to) print, media releases, radio, TV, website, social media, graphics, editorials, banners, stickers, shirts, corflutes and/or street signs.  Also, unless otherwise stated, there will be no restrictions on the geographical distribution of the material produced.
• if you have a child/ren under the age of 18 years old, you give permission and all rights for the Kurrimine Beach Fishing Club for use of any audio/visual imagery taken of child/ren via photography, video content  and audio recordings, name, to be used for purposes of education, promotion, marketing or advertising for (included but not limited too) print, media releases, radio, TV, website, social media, graphics, editorials, banners, stickers, shirts, corflutes, street signs. Also, unless otherwise stated, there will be no restrictions on the geographical distribution of material produced. If the minor is under the laws of the state where his/her appearance is recorded.

Under the condition that the Kurrimine Classic is an amateur competition, the Competitors shall comply with:

• that Kurrimine Beach Fishing Club Incorporated accepts no liability for any injury, loss or damage to any person or property in the course of the competition when such injury or loss is due, or alleged to be due to any act, neglect or default on the part of Kurrimine Beach Fishing Club Inc or of any official or agency thereof, and all competitors fully understand that in so participating they do so entirely at their own risk and agree to abide by all rules and regulations.
• syndicates are not recognised in this amateur competition.
• all professional fishermen are eligible to enter the competition provided they abide by the same rules as amateur entrants and do not have a professional net in their possession 3 days prior to and during the competition.
